The Vibration of Your Name
Every letter carries a number within it – and every name carries its very own vibration. The name number, also known as the expression number, is calculated using the Pythagorean system: each letter of the alphabet is assigned a numerical value from 1 to 9. The sum of all letter values of a name is then reduced to its cross sum until a single digit remains.
This number is no coincidence. It reflects the energy a name radiates – how it affects others, which doors it opens and what imprint it gives to the person who carries it. Parents who choose a name for their child are also choosing a vibration. And whoever calculates their own name gains a deep insight into the forces that have accompanied them since birth.
The calculator works for first names as well as full names, surnames or individual words. With multiple words (e.g. first and last name), spaces are ignored – only what sounds is counted. Umlauts such as ä, ö, ü are calculated as ae, oe, ue, since in classical numerology they are traced back to their base letters.
